NTUTORR funded resource

The EU funded N-TUTORR programme aims to transform the student learning experience. ATU Library is very pleased to have received funding from N-TUTORR to provide access to 3 key online resources for the next 2 years.

Irish Newspapers Archives is the world’s largest online database of Irish Newspapers. Search, retrieve and view Ireland’s past in the exact format it was published. It contains international and Irish national, regional and historical newspaper pages including:

  • Connacht Tribune (1909 – current)
  • The Irish Examiner (1841 – current)
  • The Irish Independent (1905 – current)
  • Western People (1889 – current)

Sage Research Methods supports research at all levels by providing material to guide users through every step of the research process. This resource has some great tools including:

  1. Methods Map – this visualization demonstrates how methods are related and connects users to relevant content
  2. Project Planner – find step-by-step guidance to complete your research project.

Taylor & Francis is one-stop site hosting journals, eBooks, abstract databases and reference works from their medical, social sciences and humanities collections. We have access to the Social Science and Humanities Collection and the Medical Collection, combined these two collections give us full text access to almost 2,000 journal titles.

ATU Library is collecting statistics to help secure continued access to these valuable resources. If you attend one of our library user education sessions you will be invited to complete the N-TUTORR Data Collection form.
