ATU has a number of open access, transformative agreements with publishers through IReL, the consortium of Irish academic libraries. IReL facilitates open access (OA) agreements with publishers to allow corresponding authors from eligible institutions, including ATU, publish their articles open access immediately on publication, at no additional cost, or further Article Processing Charge (APC), outside the agreement.
If you are current ATU staff, researcher or student and you publish your next paper OA via one of these agreements, your article will be freely available online, and your research can be discovered and read immediately. Please note these agreements have a limit on the number of APCs that can be granted.
