At our May meeting, the Library Book Club had an interesting discussion on Galway woman Nora Barnacle’s life after reading Nuala O’Connor’s new work Nora. 

Our next meeting is Wednesday 16th June, Bloomsday! What else could we read for that but a work by Nora’s husband, James Joyce himself. We’re looking forward to reading The Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man.
