As part of the ATU transition project, there are changes taking place to how the library’s online resources are accessed.

Please note we are currently still signing in using our GMIT email addresses for all library online library services & resources (even if you have transitioned to an ATU email address).

This includes, but not limited to: Service Update

  • Your library account
  • Databases
  • eBooks
  • Online journal articles
  • Past exam papers

If you have any personal searches, reading lists or saved resources within folders on the library databases (including Search + Find), please save a copy/backup of your information. If you need any help with this, please contact the library for assistance.

We recommend that you copy/backup any information you may have within folders in any of the library databases.

Such information may include:

  • personal searches
  • reading lists
  • saved resources
  • annotations or notes within e-books

Each database will have internal instructions on how to export data from it. These may differ from database to database, so we cannot provide a full list of instructions here. If you have items saved in ‘My Folder’ in Search + Find you can export the citations to a referencing software tool like EndNote Online or download into an Excel file.

Change to your digital identity and access to the ATU Library Service databases will happen in September, information on any of the changes to our services and systems will be shared.

If you have any concerns over the changes, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
