This room is dedicated to making access available to the Library's stock of audio-visual and multimedia materials

Services available include:

• Audio cassettes
• DVD's
• CD-roms
• Videos
• Microfiche and microfilm reading and printing
• Scanner (for scanning library material that cannot leave the library)

User groups:

This facility may be used by staff or students on an individual basis only. Groups may view videos, DVD's etc. in the seminar room on the first floor. It may also be used for viewing and printing from microfiche and microfilm titles, and accessing CD-roms and DVD's.

Examples of resources used in the multimedia room include, language cassettes, videos, DVD's, microfilm CD-roms (the multimedia room contains 6 high-spec PCs for accessing CD-roms and DVD's) and various titles in microfiche and slide format.
