Computers

The library has 115 PCs for patron use located on the open floor in designated areas. Patrons may use these for research only, either searching library databases or the Internet. Specialist equipment and software such as cd-roms and dvd's may only be viewed in the Multimedia Room. Patrons, by using the library PCs, are complying with the library and IT department's terms and conditions as laid down in the Student Code of Conduct. Anyone found to be in breach of the rules and conditions, by either damaging or defacing equipment, or accessing/viewing inappropriate material, will be banned from their future use.ID cards must be shown to library staff on request.

Wireless
Wirless technology is enabled in the library for accessing the Internet. To date student's personal accounts cannot be accessed via their laptops, nor can they connect to the printers.

Printing
All of the PCs located within the library are connected to a black & white and a colour printer in their area. Students credit their account using the GPAS machine (located on the ground floor of the library and in the IT centre) in order to print, printing is charged @ 8c per page for black & white and 25c per colour page.
